On December 12, the Baltic-German University Liaison Office organizes its traditional christmas concert: "A winterly research journey" will be held Jāzeps Vītols Music Academy, Kr. Barona iela 1, Riga, at 6:30 p.m.

One working group will deal with German-Baltic texts:
The section GERMAN-BALTIC TEXTS: LINGUISTICS AND POETICS invites researchers to explore texts written in German in the Baltic states or texts related to the Baltic states. The texts can be examined from a linguistic as well as a comparative literature perspective. The contributions to the section will be published in the scientific periodical "Valoda dažādu kultūru kontekstā" (Language in the context of different cultures) or in the conference volume "Vēsture: avoti un cilvēki" (History: Sources and Humans), which is listed in the database EBSCO.
Working language: German.
Registration is possible until December 11.
