LCC International University invites students to apply and to participate in its annual academic conference. The topic of this year - Whose Justice? Global Perspectives in Dialogue. This intentionally international, cross-disciplinary conference brings together scholars from Lithuania and across Europe, as well as North America, to present research, debate issues, share ideas, generate new questions, and rigorously reflect on the contemporary notions of justice in the twenty-first century, as reflected across academic disciplines.

The conference organizers welcome papers and dialogue on a wide variety of topics related to justice across many academic disciplines:

  • Restorative justice
  • Nonviolent social movements /civil resistance
  • Economics
  • Corporate social responsibility
  • Global politics
  • International law and human rights
  • Public law
  • Environmental justice
  • EducationTheology / ethics / religion / philosophy
  • Psychology / interpersonal relationships / human relations

The language of the conference is English, but papers may also be presented in Lithuanian. Papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication in the peer-reviewed journal LCC Liberal Arts Studies.
