You can apply for the following DAAD scholarships:

onSET-dates

You can check and document your German and English skills with the onSET-Test, which is offered by DAAD Lecturers in all three Baltic states. When applying for a DAAD scholarship, the onSET test is considered a suitable language certificate. The test can be taken in:

University Summer Course Scholarships

Applications for scholarships for participating in a summer school at a university in Germany in summer 2020 can be submitted until December 1, 2019. The scholarships support participation in a summer school to deepen German language skills, general cultural knowledge about Germany, or a more topic-focused course in one of various academic fields. A list of courses can be found here. Scholarship holders receive a one-time payment of € 950 plus a travel allowance (€ 425 for Estonia, € 300 for Latvia / Lithuania). The scholarship is available to students enrolled in at least the second year of a Bachelor's programme or in a Master's programme. Language skills in German of at least A2 are a requirement. If you are unsure if this applies to you, feel free to contact us. If you do not have a language certificate, you can take an onSET test free of charge in Riga, Tallinn or Vilnius. We also offer support regarding questions of any kind concerning the applications!

Call for Applications: DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program 2021

The DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program is one of Europe´s most prestigious grants. Each year around 20 visual artists, writers, filmmakers, composers and sound artists are invited to Berlin to focus on their work and engage with the city's vibrant art scenes.
To be eligible for this fellowship, artists must have developed their own distinguished artistic voice and body of work. The grant is not awarded to students; however, there is no limit of age. Application deadline - by 1 December. 2019. Further information can be found here.
