On May 28, Director General of the Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development Stefano Manservisi will deliver a public lecture to the students and faculty of the European Humanities University (EHU) under the topic “European Union Development Policy and Its Future”.
Being the single largest development cooperation donor in the world, the European Union leads thousands of international aid-aimed projects around the world. Mr. Manservisi, a long-standing top-level official within a number of European Commission bodies, will share his insight on the future of development cooperation projects, the impact of the international aid in achieving a better and more sustainable global environment during his visit to the Belarusian University-in-Exile.
The public lecture will take place on May 28 at 12:10 in EHU Campus Auditorium 110. The public lecture will be followed up by a Q&A session.
Prior to joining the Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development in 2016, Mr. Manservisi led the Directorate General for Migration and Home Affairs, as well as served as Head of the Cabinet of High Representative Frederica Mogherini and Commission President Romano Prodi.
